Bentall's experience in retail management and leasing pre-dates
1997. In that year we made a significant acquisition with the purchase of
Pioneer Equities and shortly thereafter, we re-branded the company as Bentall
Retail Services.
The acquisition of Pioneer brought with it a 20-year track
record of success, concentrated primarily on retail properties.
Our management and leasing specialists operate across Canada for
a wide variety of shopping centres, encompassing everything from open-air strip
malls and community shopping centres, to large power centres and enclosed regional malls.
Headquartered in Toronto, Bentall Retail Services operates
through staff in each of our Canadian offices. We not only provide specialized
knowledge within the markets we serve, but we are also able to work with
tenants on a national level.
On average, our retail leasing team process more than
300 vacant space and renewal leases representing over
one million square feet of transactions per year.
