About the property
Baywood Apartments is located within close proximity to shopping, recreational and medical facilities.
This six storey, 77-unit apartment building was originally constructed in 1981. Bentall Residential performed a complete renovation of the building in 2003/2004. The renovation included unit interiors, common area re-configuration, new administration and social service offices, a new roof, new elevator systems, upgraded life safety systems and new furniture and equipment for resident services.
The California Housing Finance Agency provided both senior tax-exempt and subordinate taxable debt. The development received an allocation of low-income housing tax credits purchased by Related Capital Company.
Project-based rental assistance provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
