We have been providing real estate advisory services to Canadian pension funds and institutional investors since 1982.

The growth in our assets under management has come partly from corporate acquisitions, but by far the majority comes from additional capital invested by existing clients.

In March 2001, we added the assets previously held by Bentall Corporation to our overall investment management portfolio.

In June 2002, we acquired the Beutel Goodman Real Estate Group, adding over $1 billion of client assets. This brought new clients to Bentall Investment Management as well as adding to assets under management for existing relationships.

All of our senior managers have 10-20 years experience in the real estate investment business. Bentall's senior management team are all investors in Bentall Capital, giving them direct incentive and an ownership stake in the business.
